The investigation involved a select number of students taking part in a series of workshops and discussions with the likes of Professor John Chilton, Remo Pedeschi and John Romer.Using a thousand metres of wood we made three gridshells which would stand for a short term outside the university building.
The three gridshells stuctures gained much local publicity, mentioned on
radio, published in papers and blogged about by visiting architects. For a short period the gridshells were a talking shop between students, Architects and the people of Sheffield
